Paddle on your Own
We offer a variety of non-guided trips on the Mullica and Batsto Rivers. Select one of our trips, choose to kayak or canoe and you control the pace! Make as many or as few stops as you want along the way. While you won’t have a guide on your trip, we provide you with all the information you need to enjoy your trip safely. Our expert drivers take you to the start of your trip and pick you up at the end. Along the way they share fascinating information about the Pine Barrens.
Trips are offered at specific times during the day. You must book your trip date and time in advance. Choose from 1.5-hour, 2-hour, 4-hour, 5-hour, 8-hour, or even overnight trips and connect with nature, your family or other people on the river!
Paddle with a Guide
Our expert educators have created some fantastic trips to explore our waterways with a guide. Learn about history, ecology, plants and animals while getting to know your guide and the other people on your trip. These guided trips are very popular and sell out quickly – make sure to book in advance.
Rent a Boat
Pinelands Adventures can provide the perfect addition to your stay in the Atsion Lake Family Campsites, Atsion Lake Cabins or Goshen Pond campsite. After you book your stay with Wharton State Forest get in touch with us. We will drop off your rented boats and pick them up again. Rentals are available Friday through Monday. They include life jackets and paddles. You must have a reservation in the campground before reserving one of our boats.
