We would love to have your group come out and explore the Pines!

The educational mission of Pinelands Adventures is to introduce a new generation to the beauty, ecology, and value of New Jersey’s largest wilderness, the Pinelands National Reserve. Pinelands Adventures will provide your students with a meaningful and relevant outdoor educational experience.

Here’s what you’ll need to book a program:

1. Choose the program or trip below that you are interested in

2. Email or call us with this information: 
Contact information, name of school or organization, planned number of participants, at least 2 preferred calendar dates, preferred start and end time, along with education goals or any questions you have so far!

3. Start to gather related documents, such as tax exemption, and let the Pinelands Adventures team help complete your booking!

Activities are hands-on and use the context of the Pinelands to bring complex concepts to life.

EDUCATOR RESOURCES

We use the New Jersey Pine Barrens ecosystem as a vehicle to teach broader themes of ecology, biology, geology, history, and social science.

PROGRAMS FOR COMMUNITY & CIVIC GROUPS

We offer a variety of educational programs about the Pinelands for civic and community groups, churches, colleges, and businesses.

Pinelands Alliance offers presentations designed to educate diverse groups about the Pine Barrens ecosystem and the Pinelands comprehensive management plan including history, culture, and current threats to the Pinelands.

We currently offer in-person presentations or virtual (Zoom) presentations tailored to the needs or interests of the audience.
