Adventures without Barriers: Eno’s Pond
Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds and smells of the forest on this easy-going walk at Eno's Pond County Park in Forked River, NJ.

Join PPA staff on this exploration of the Pinelands on a .5-mile walk offering views of beautiful Pine Barrens streams, lakes, forests, and access to many native plants. You’ll be invited to unplug, slow down, breathe, and remember your connection to the natural world. This inclusive and accessible family-friendly outing follows along nicely compacted stone dust trails and boardwalk sections. Learn about the area’s important natural resources and ecology and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature.
Accessibility Information:
The trail is a .5-mile loop with small out-and-back routes. The path follows flat, even terrain. There are no slopes encountered on this trip. The trail is a minimum of 4 feet wide. The general trail surfaces are compacted stone, which will allow for rugged terrain wheelchair access. The trip will take about one hour. There are benches and seating within the park. Additionally, there are compliant ADA parking spaces in the parking area. Also, there are public bathrooms on-site.

Note: Participants who are not requesting to use Pineland Adventures wheelchairs should come prepared with their own mobility assistive devices. Bring walkers, canes, crutches, and personal outdoor assistive gear. The trails are conducive to allowing electric assistive mobility equipment.
