Join naturalist and guide John Volpa as he leads a stroll designed especially for individuals with physical disabilities and senior citizens, including those requiring wheelchairs, walkers or canes, on the Atsion Lake Recreation Area ADA trail. This half mile path offers views of a beautiful Pine Barrens Lake and access to enjoy many native plants. We’ll stop along the water’s edge to explore the aquatic life such as frogs and fish. Smell the scents of blooming plants, touch the frogs, observe the fish, and listen to the birds. Perhaps we’ll see the local osprey dive for a meal!
